Behind the Lens is a rare opportunity for the public to see documentaries, news specials, short movies and from filmmakes on what it takes to bring their stories to the screen. Each program begins with a screening followed by a talk and Q & A with the filmmaker. Directors, producers, videographers, writers, editors are all welcome to go Behind the Lens!

The new series launches on Friday September 29t, 2017 launch with a screening of a documentary “Summer 67” with Bruce Harper, the film’s Emmy Awarding Director and Michigan Radio who conducted research is documentary’s narrator. This event falls on the anniversary date of when WGPR-TV62 went on the air in 1967 and is fundraiser to support the museum which exhibits of the history of the station. Seating is limited.
