The 40th Anniversary of a Dream
Tuesday September 29, 2015 marked the 40th anniversary WGPR-TV 62 of when the first African American owned television station in United State went on the air. This landmark date fulfilled the dream of Dr. William V. Banks to found a minority owned and operated TV station.
